Greetings, thanks for returning for the newest episode. This month I’ll be treating you to a more death metal-centric episode than recent iterations; but also a fair amount of electronic madness among all the bleakness and blackened dirges.
Not much else to add other than thanks for the continued interest and support. See you the first Wednesday in June.

Back after a short gap in time with the newest installment. This month brings the listener a more guitar-centric affair than is the norm in this realm. But don’t fret, there’s a good deal of brooding even with so little synth in the mix. Not much else to add other than to say thanks for the continued support of the comment bots and whatever other weirdoes still frequent these places. I’ll see you the first Wednesday next month.

Another episode “in the can.” A few more “heavy hitters” on this episode than normal, but I felt like giving some larger acts their flowers, so to speak. This month is heavier than normal (I guess) on acts from the electronic/experimental realm. Do with that information what you see fit.
I will be returning in a little over two weeks for the third installment of the all-covers “Anxious Karaoke” special. So look forward to that nonsense if you’re so inclined. On that note, enjoy the sounds and thanks for taking the time to listen.

And we’re back on the normal schedule/cycle. This month is slightly more narrow in its total scope, but pleasing, nonetheless; Not much from the more experimental/avant garde, but engaging in their own way. The orthodox has a charm of its own, you know.
Thank you for the continued support and I will return the first Wednesday of next month.
The artists and their respective tracks are as follows with each track time noted in the parentheses after each track:
This installment was a fucking pain in the ass to introduce to the ether, but here we are. Probably the most diverse, sonically-speaking, episode in some time, but I think you’ll enjoy its odd cohesion.
Thank you for your continued support and I am looking forward to another year of miserable sounds.
See you the first Wednesday of next month.

Back to our normal state of affairs after last week’s Autumnal/Dungeon special. Hopefully you faithful listeners were sated by episode 39.5’s subterranean hums, beeps, and groans over the Halloween weekend.
Which brings us to this month’s installment depraved collection of songs. The pace is largely lurching this go-around and hopefully it’s to your liking. The blood is thickening (or congealing depending on your condition) so breakneck speed isn’t a priority. Rest your bones and drink up the misery.
See you the first Wednesday of next month.

Welcome back, friends. The heat is breaking and it rained all day today which places me in a superior mood for this monthly exercise. Hopefully you, the listener, find this installment to be smoother and less formulaic than the last few. I try not to fall into a pattern but no one is immune to the siren song of “That’ll do.”
That being said, I feel like this episode is very natural in its unfurling and eventual denouement. Hopefully you find it enjoyable.
See you the first Wednesday of next month.

Greetings from the beginning of Heat Death: North America.
This episode marks three years completed on this project and a tumultuous three years in general. Thanks to all who have supported over the years, I’m eager to be starting the fourth cycle of this project with the episode you’re about to hear.
I won’t drone on, other than to mention (in passing) how this episode features more “big” bands than previous episodes. It wasn’t intentional, but I felt like acknowledging it.
See you next time on the first Wednesday of the month.

This episode marks the end of the third “season” of this vanity project. I won’t pretend that anything I’ve undertook here has impacted anything of actual merit; but it’s been an interesting distraction at best, and a rote exercise that enables me to keep track of the date.
I figure now is as good a time as any other to speak the “mission statement (ugh)” of this very project into the ether. If for no other reason than my own hubris and current intoxication. The following points are only to be read by the biggest sickos as they are immaterial to your listening experience. I still feel the need to mention them.
-I do not repeat artists/groups (with exceptions for collaborations)
-I will always feature at least one (hopefully more) group or artist featuring a person of color. There’s a sea of white boys in all of the genres I highlight and they don’t need my shine. If this bothers you, then fuck off.
-I will always feature a group or artist from NYC. It was meant derisively, but “No one ‘loves’ New York like a transplant.”
All of that navel gazing aside, here is episode 36. See you the first Wednesday of next month for the start of Anxiety Eternal’s fourth year.
The artists and their respective tracks are as follows with each track time noted in the parentheses after each track:
Four weeks have past and I’ve returned with a new collection of songs to sully your day (month?).
June’s chapter finds itself heavy on the slower scale of tempos as a general pace. A few sections reach rollicking heights, but this is largely a lurch. Hopefully this is to your liking. Coincidentally there’s a strong Canadian contingency this month, so cheers to my neighbors to the North.
So without further ado, I’ll bid you adieu. Thanks for the support and we’ll cross paths again the first Wednesday next month when the weather’s even worse.
The artists and their respective tracks are as follows with each track time noted in the parentheses after each track:
