Episode 79

Greetings. I’ve returned with the latest edition of the series. This episode was the most eclectic in selection and song-order in quite a while. For the near-term, at least, I hope to lean into the latter trait and not be so orthodox in my tracking. Time will tell if I stay true to this goal.

We start off with a fair amount of body music before lurching into a glut of black metal interpretations. Following that I wanted to slow things down before finishing off with some dirging and noisy punk selections. Hopefully it’s to your liking, but if not there’s always next month.

Episode 77

Welcome to the final episode of 2025. It was nearly the final episode of this series but I’ve decided to carry on; hopefully with a new computer to facilitate this monstrosity. Please, Santa Baby.

Greetings. I’ve returned like the snow did last night, albeit almost phantom-like in its fleetingness. There is much in the way of your metals of death and blackness this month. Episode 61

Greetings, with this episode Anxiety Eternal has been a festering sore on the face of society for five years. Much has changed in the world-at-large (and in your selector’s corner) in the past half decade and I appreciate all who have taken the ride. That being said, the music is the focus here, not reflection.

With Summer in full swing I felt the need to inject some speed into the mix which I feel has been lacking of late. Worry not, as the dirges and the misery also show themselves so as not to overwhelm the senses with pace for pace’s sake.
