Episode 68.5: Anxious Karaoke V

Hello again, friends. I’ve returned with the fifth installment of the all-covers special known as “Anxious Karaoke.” I’m pretty pleased with the balance and variety of this year’s installment. Heavier on the evil-ing metal on side one while side two slides into some melody and dare I say tenderness. Hopefully you find something you like.

Episode 64

Greetings. I love doing this thing on the first Wednesday of every month. Anyway, I won’t wade into the failings of US electoral politics, there’s enough gloom in these songs. Episode 61

Greetings, with this episode Anxiety Eternal has been a festering sore on the face of society for five years. Much has changed in the world-at-large (and in your selector’s corner) in the past half decade and I appreciate all who have taken the ride. Episode 60

Greetings, faithful listeners. This episode marks the completion of the fifth cycle of the Anxiety Eternal psy-op. I hope this missive finds you well in this hellscape we call the present day.

To my tinnitus-addled ears this episode is as close to a representative example of the AE ethos as I’ve been able to muster for quite some time. This project is largely an of-the-moment exercise that isn’t always as diverse as I’d wish; time will routinely preclude me from checking as many genre boxes as I’d like while maintaining cohesion.
