Episode 79

Greetings. I’ve returned with the latest edition of the series. This episode was the most eclectic in selection and song-order in quite a while. For the near-term, at least, I hope to lean into the latter trait and not be so orthodox in my tracking. Time will tell if I stay true to this goal.

We start off with a fair amount of body music before lurching into a glut of black metal interpretations. Following that I wanted to slow things down before finishing off with some dirging and noisy punk selections. Hopefully it’s to your liking, but if not there’s always next month.

Episode 77

Episode 75.5: Samhain Special VI

Here we go again, the sixth installment of the Samhain series is now ready for your attention. For the uninitiated, this is an annual experiment in testing my listeners’ patience. A shorter episode in which I basically make a Halloween sound effects tape out of “intro(s),” “outro(s),” “interlude(s),” and other snippets of (mostly) instrumental passages. Episode 63.5: Samhain Special V

Greetings, fellow travelers. The time has come to immerse ourselves in the new season. The days shorten, the nights cool, and the atmosphere drys. If you’re in the Southern Hemisphere then this means nothing to you, of course. Apologies if I made this lame joke last year (and the year before).
